What started as a modest gathering of 2,000 passionate gamers in a small Sydney warehouse has evolved into the premier gaming exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting over 75,000 visitors annually.
Our founders, a group of veteran game developers and esports enthusiasts, recognized a gap in the Australian gaming landscape. While international events like E3 and Gamescom dominated headlines, local fans deserved their own world-class platform to experience groundbreaking releases, connect with industry legends, and compete at the highest level.
Today, GameExpo Arena stands as a testament to the incredible growth of gaming culture in Australia. We've hosted over 500 game launches, facilitated partnerships between 200+ indie developers and major publishers, and distributed more than $2 million in esports prize money.
